Export your Illustrator Design as an SVG file:
As SVGs files become more and much more popular for use around the web. It’s nice to
be able to save your Adobe Illustrator projects directly to an editable SVG format.
Luckily, you can do it!
Choose the Save as and Export options, you can easily export artboards directly
to an SVG file, as well as any other format.
Save an SVG in Illustrator
How to do it is here:
Method-1–Save As;
- Open your project file in Adobe Illustrator
- On the top menu, Choose File >> Save As
- Choose the Save As From the popup window, select the SVG file format from the Format drop-down menu
- Choose the Save button
Method- 2 – Export As;
- Open your project file in Adobe Illustrator
- Choose from the top menu, select File >> Export >> Export As
- Select the Export As from the popup window, select the SVG file format from the Format drop-down menu, and Choose “Use Artboards” to export the full artboard size
- Select the Export button
Method-3 – Export for Screens;
- Open your project file in Adobe Illustrator
- On the top menu, Choose File >> Export >> Export for Screens
- Select Export for Screens from the popup window, select the “Artboards” tab on the left and check all the artboards that you want to export
- Choose the right side of the window, Select your export location and Choose SVG under your Formats
- Select “Export Artboard”
